My stepmom is from New Brunswick and has been craving chow chow as she calls it for over a year. Can’t find it anywhere out in Alberta. I ordered a jar and brought it to her in hospice. She was thrilled, eating it by the spoonful between bites of sandwich. I asked her if she wanted it put in the fridge and she wasn’t sure it would last that long (meaning she might eat it all).

This is sweet green tomato Chow Chow relish. It is great on Pork Chops and can be used in place of cucumber relish. This is a nice balance of sweetness and saltiness.
