Cauliflower-Oatmeal Patties

I recently got a wonderful organic cauliflower and it was way to large for two people to eat at once. So I was searching for a recipe to use the "leftover". I found this wonderful and delicious recipe I would like to share with you.

For 4 Persons:

  • 250 gr Cauliflowers grated 
  • 100 gr Oatmeal
  • one Egg
  • 25 gr Sesame Seeds
  • 50 gr Sour Cream
  • 100 gr Cheese - grated
  • 1 small onion cut in small pieces
  • 0.5 tsp veggie broth powder
  • 2 tsp "The Maritimer" Mustard
  • Salt, Pepper, Nutmeg to taste
  • Breadcrumbs if needed
  • Oil for frying

Mix everything together, season well and mix again thoroughly. If the mix is still a bit too wet, use some breadcrumbs and mix it in. Let the dough sit for 20 minutes and let it soak through. 

Form patties and fry them in oil until golden brown. 

We enjoyed them with some Relish and it was absolutely delicious! I hope you will enjoy them as well.
