What is the difference between spicy and hot? -   Spicy means the mustard has just the spiciness from the mustard which will punch your nose and leave quickly. Hot means that we added some hot stuff to the mustard like hot peppers. You will have the kick in the nose as well as some heat in your mouth from the peppers.

Is our mustard gluten free?   -  In general yes. But, there is always an exception. The Stout mustard, Aye Aye Captain mustard, Campfire mustard and the Dancing in the Dark sauce are made with malt and therefore not gluten free. 

Is it necessary to leave the mustard in the fridge once open?  -   No! Because our mustard is fermented and not cooked, it is not necessary to store the mustard in the fridge. But - to preserve the flavour and spiciness, we recommend it.

Does the mustards have one base and have flavour added?  -  Absolutely not! We are very proud to say that every single mustard has its own recipe and is made from scratch. We take the whole seeds, mill/grind them, mix them with vinegar, water (or beer, juice), sometimes vegetable or fruit, sugar, salt, herbs and spices. Everything fresh and made by us.

Is the mustard vegan?  -  Mostly yes. Here we have some exceptions again. Some mustards are made with honey, like Old German mustard, Honey, Honey-Dill, Oktoberfest, Sweet & Purple. We source the honey from a local beekeeper. 

I have diabetes - do you have sugar free mustard? -   Absolutely! We have 9 sugar free mustard and have a special section for it in our online shop. Mustard is in general Keto friendly.
